Central Park Mall, NSW

FEBRUARY 2022

Place Design Management is very proud to announce their involvement with client Fortius in bringing Fortress Australia to Central Park Mall. Fortress is the Australian-born entertainment and video games powerhouse, and is set to open its doors next summer at Central Park Mall, Broadway, providing a massive boost to Sydney’s night-time economy in what will be one of the largest leisure venues in the Southern Hemisphere.

The arrival of Fortress Sydney will see the redevelopment of 3000sqm of existing retail space, just under a fifth of the 16,250sqm retail space available in the Mall, already home to multiple retail outlets, restaurants, cafes and a cinema complex. With Fortius’ multimillion-dollar development investment, Fortress Sydney will be an alternative entertainment option for families, video games’ players of all levels and everyone looking for a different leisure experience not yet on offer in the city.  Let the games begin!

Victoria Place Burwood, NSW

DECEMBER 2021

Recently we have been working on an exciting retail precinct which is part of the mixed-use Victoria Place Burwood project. Our client was keen for us to take a design deep dive and explore texture and form in a sculptural way to give the retail a strong and unique personality. Here is a sneak peek on some of our common area designs with the fly-through video to be launched early in the New Year. We can’t wait for this project to come to life!
